The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015), came into force on 6 April 2015. The CDM regulations apply to all building and construction work and includes new build, demolition, refurbishment, extensions, conversions, repair, and maintenance.
Projects with more than one contractor must have a Principal Designer and a Principal Contractor appointed.
